What would you like other EcoMom Alliance members to know about you ...: I am a science educator. When our children are old enough to purchase services and products, they will need to know how to support sustainable efforts. And that means knowing the laws of nature that govern sustainability. We at StarChild Science have organized a science program for young children that teaches those laws by engaging in fun, hands-on science activities. We know that any child can understand what must be done to have a sustainable fishing market, food shed, and neighborhood. All we have to do is allow our children to apply their knowledge as they grow into and become members of the purchasing market. http://www.starchildscience.org

What is your favorite tip for finding "me time"?: My favorite eco-friendly tip is: educate your children in ways to live a life through eco friendly behavior. That is: wear only organic clothing, use only organic products for your home, eat only naturally grown, locally produced veggies and meat, purchase food from sustainable crop minded farmers. Also, solar heat your home, biofuel your car.
