We believe that the world is in the midst of a great turning and opportunity exists to leverage the historically proven power of women to help us all live more sustainably. • A History of Success: Throughout history, women - and mothers in particular - have stepped up to meet the demands of the times. From fighting fevers to fighting against injustice, moms do what needs to be done, and our world needs that now more than ever. We need it, our children need it, and all of the species on earth need it. ecomom Alliance represents a thriving group of consumers and change makers looking for healthier products and better ways of working together

• A Return to Balance: Women are hungry for change. A 2006 Center for Disease Control study found American women overextended, isolated and depressed; we are living out of balance with the natural world, and our selves. By helping women begin to take better care of themselves and their families – with education, support, tools and products - we empower them to take the all important first steps toward a healthier, more balanced, and sustainable lifestyle.
