So what you are EcoMoms thinking about giving away to trick-or-treaters this year?

Hi EcoMoms!

I wanted to let you know about our art design contest for the 2010 trick-or-treat ChicoBag. (This is our second year.) Last year's design winner was a 12 year old from Florida and her bag was featured on the Bonnie Hunt Show! (There's also a corner of it featured in the October issue of Kiwi magazine).

If your budding artists, age 1-13, would like to enter, here are the details:

We just got back from a fabulous Green Expo in Idaho and were excited to meet so many greenies in the Boise area. We hope to find someone to coordinate Green Halloween there as well as in Chicago, Boston, Denver and LA. If you know of anyone in these areas, please let us know!

Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday, I'd love to learn about ways to be eek-o-friendly!

Rachel DeMicco coordinated a Green Halloween event at Sustainable Fairfax last year and it was huge hit! This is a very fun and motivating action for parents to take.
