Event Description

Join us for this “Global Community" event and Give Your Kids A Chance to Give Other Kids A Chance

Lisa Nash, of Blue Planet Network and Caroline Kouassiaman and Elena Nicklasson, of the Global Fund for Women will share how their water programs are changing lives and communities around the globe.

  • About 1 out of 6 of our fellow human beings on Earth does not have daily, immediate access to clean safe drinking water
  • The average distance that women in Africa and Asia walk to collect water is 4 miles
  • Tens of millions of children cannot go to school as they must fetch water every day
  • The average American person uses 100 to 175 gallons of water per day. The average family in a developing nation suffering from the lack of clean drinking water uses 5 gallons per day.

Come hear what you and your family can do to help. Enjoy KIDS ACTIVITIES. Live Featured Guest Presentation. Videos. Kids and adults welcome. Suggested donation $5 / person with proceeds to Blue Planet Network.
